A Contrast of the Views on Technology between Eastern and Western Marxism： Taking Qu Qiubai and George Lukfics as Cases
 In 1920s, both Eastern and Western Marxists began to think about the significance of modern technology for the development of human society and culture. Mr. George Lukdcs investigated the specialty of Western devel- oped capitalist society and changed the criticism of the tech-rationality and materialization in capitalist society into the ideological criticism. In the same period, Mr. Qu Qiubai investigated the universality of human history process and revealed the necessity of developing productive power and reforming productive relations through clarifying the essence and the application way of technology. Their thinking on technology had elucidated the spirit of Marxist theory from two different aspects and reflected the difference between Eastern and Western Marxism.
