Has Logical Empiricism Dead  Zhu Zhifang 1 
 Karl Popper claims that he has killed logical empiricism, but in fact, logical empiricism is not killed by him if it was dead. Actually it is still alive. The most serious challenge to logical empiricism is from historicism and its later development in scientific philosophy. The principle of verifiability formulated by logical empiricists does still work in guiding science. The methods of logical analysis remain basic in philosophizing.
